It was clear to me that I had to regain some of the flexibility of my body that had been lost to decades seated in my chair before my computer. It was also clear from past experience that I would not thrive in a large class in a gym. A friend who had been taking Vidya's class convinced me to try the small group sessions she was attending. The experience was so valuable that when the opportunity to have private and semi-private lessons arose, I was delighted to set them up.

From the very first class, I knew that Candace's clear instruction and gentle correction was right for me. Equally important is the personal warmth and sincere, but non-intrusive, spirituality. I have appreciated how she has adjusted the classes with great sensitivity to individual needs. Every session is unique, so it is impossible to get bored. It is clear that a lot of thought goes into planning the sessions. In addition, the aroma therapy and healing oils that are part of the sessions are beneficial on yet another level of the senses. Over the past year, I have been able to discover what I can do and learn movements that never would have occurred to me to try on my own. I have been able to observe parts of my body, for example, my legs, becoming more flexible. I am more aware of my posture. It was a big surprise to find that in some ways I still have a decent range of motion. I would not have known this were it not for the intimate classes and private sessions. I would want all my friends to share the sense of physical and mental well-being that the classes impart.
