Candace Morano is a certified yoga teacher, educational kinesiologist, and has a
Master’s in Social Work from NYU. She lives and practices in New York City. For the past
eight years, she has blended her diverse background of studies. Offering yoga,
educational kinesiology, psychotherapy, and aromatherapy, she invites her students and
clients to find a more holistic approach to living.
Candace first discovered the power of movement as a child, in ballet and figure skating.
Studying dance therapy also helped her to bring body-mind, movement oriented techniques that she incorporated into her Social work career in the Bronx and in NYC homeless shelters. In her late 20‘s,
Candace knew she had found her greatest movement gift yet. Yoga was an awakening to
delve into the miraculous beauty of experience from a meditative, physical perspective.
This yogic nature translated into many shifts in her life and led Candace down a new
path. Aromatherapy and medicinal oils were introduced to her and have been a
steadfast way of creating health and healing.

Vidya is Candace’s spiritual name given to her by her teacher, Dattatreya Siva Baba, also known as Dr. Pillai.
Vidya means knowledge and Candace has studied long and far to explore the vastness of
holistic health that has become widely accessible and desired by many. She has a gift for listening, sensing and discovering the potential in every client. Spending much of her
time, in leadership training and acquiring a license in Educational Kinesiology, Candace
brings a unique perspective for understanding her clients on every level- physical,
emotional, mental, and spiritual.
